This is a quiz about offspring.
Not human offspring though, that would be too easy. Let's see
if you can name the offspring of various other earthly life
forms.

Some have more than one name. For example, a baby crow can be
called a chick or a hatchling, but only one correct answer
is given to each question below. Ready, set, go change
those diapers!

1) A alpaca offspring is called a:
a. cria b. calf c. alpacia

2) A baby clam is called a:
a. clamino b. larva c. squisher

3) A cod offspring is called a:
a. sprat b. coddette c. sprigger

4) A eel offspring is called a
a. elmo b. eelka c. elver

5) A elephant offspring is called a:
a. phantine b. cowling c. weaner

6) A hawk offspring is called a:
a. egger b. eyas c. screotte

7) A jellyfish offspring is called a:
a. ephyra b. jelver c. jelva

Cool A swan offspring is called a:
a. duckling b. swanette c. cygnet

And now for a really difficult one...

9) A baby hag moth is called a:
a. haggard whisper b. monkey slug c. caterpia

Answers below, here's the scoring:

9 correct: Yeah right - like you knew what a monkey slug was.
5-8 correct: I'm skeptical, but maybe you didn't cheat. Maybe.
1-4 correct: Some good guessing on your part.
0 correct: None right, but you love changing diapers anyway.
