Office XP

My wife and I own a small mailing business. We currently have 6 computers that I built. They are all currently running Win XP Pro. Addittionally, we use MSOffice 2000 Pro. I have purchased 3 copies of this. I want to upgrade to Office XP Pro. I have priced the upgrade and the best price I can find is about $257.00. Now I thought the best way might be to buy 1 Upgraded version and 5 site licenses. I have called a number of online stores and I can't get a straight answer from anybody! The las person told me it would be cheaper to buy 5 upgraded retail versions that the site licenses would be 325.00. Can someone explain how this process works?

there are many, many ways of getting the 5 licenses, each with different costs. that is why you are getting different answers. i think you need to talk to Microsoft directly first.
