Office Update 2003

by kwh2185 / August 19, 2006 10:06 AM PDT

I am running XP home. I have downloaded the larger file version of SP2 for Office but it won't install - it's looking for Disc 2 of Office 2000. I have that but it doesn't find the data2.msi file, so SP2 won't install even with the disc. Any idea what is going on?

You're talking about an update of Office 2003, asking for a disk of Office 2000. Are your sure of the numbers?

On my Office 2000 CD set, data2.msi is on cd #1, not on disk #2. Easy to see with Explorer.

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
