Office Ultimate Product Key

About a year ago I purchased a legal version of Office Ultimate 2007. Recently as I was backing up my computer for a reformat, I only wrote down the product ID. I do not have the case with my product key sticker on it. Is there anything I can do with that product ID so that I do not have to repurchase the expensive software?

When I activated my Office I also REGISTERED as the owner and this issue is quickly solved by calling Microsoft. Did you register as well as activate?
