Office Genuine Advantage Notification - failled

Have tried all suggested options, suggested to no avail.
My laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6-1239TX upgraded from Vista to Windows 7
Have installed Office Professional 2007 and Office Home and Student
Everytime after having been online when shutting computer down it tries to install itself. Have tried to manually install each time I get the following: Code 80070643 Windows update encountered an unknown error. Get help with this error.
For some reason it tries to upload an update to Windows Office 2003 and also Office 2007. I click one box it also ticks the second. Can you please help, it is most frustrating as computer takes ages to booth up again after it tried to update itself.

In such cases...

The issue is typically caused by having multiple versions of Microsoft Office partially/improperly installed, often a problem related to a trial version preinstalled by the manufacturer. Try uninstalling Microsoft Office (and all related programs), then deleting all 0FF1CE entries in your system registry. To do this, press Windows + R, type in regedit, then run a search, deleting each entry you find.

Notes:
1.) Be careful not to delete unrelated registry keys, which can cause program/system instability.
2.) Note that the keys begin with 0FF1CE, and that the letters O and I are replaced by the numbers 0 and 1 respectively.

Once done, restart the computer and reinstall Microsoft Office.

Hope this helps,
John
