What do you mean with "64bit"? A 64bit CPU? Or the 64-bit version of Windows XP, Vista or 7 (which one?).

Do you install from CD/DVD or from downloaded version?
- If from CD/DVD: make a copy and try from that. The CD might be - damaged or unreadable. Copying will tell you.
- If from a download: download again.

What file is missing: a file from the CD/DVD or download or a file that should be present in Windows already?

Please give the full litteral exact text of the error message. Error number helps also.

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/FX101754511033.aspx tells us that Office Enterprise 2007 version is only available through Volume Licensing.

"Microsoft Volume Licensing programs offer companies of all sizes a great way to obtain and manage multiple software licenses ? for as few as five desktops."
The advantage of such a program is that it comes with support options. Ask you IT guy to solve the problem himself or contact Microsoft support. This isn't something you should solve yourself.

Worth repeating. Your company paid for this with some big bucks so let them get your setup working.
