Office 2007 "upgrade"

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the upgrade process for Office 2007. Right now, I'm running the trial on a clean Vista install. I have a qualifying product for the Office 2007 upgrade, and would like to buy it.

What I'd like to know is if I purchase an upgrade license key, will it require my previous software be installed? This happened with the Vista upgrade, requiring XP be installed...and I'd like to know what's gonna happen with Office if I move forward, since I have the trial in there already.

No experience with Office 2007

but on previous installs, I have been prompted to insert the appropriate CD if the product isn't detected on the PC.
