to use the task scheduling features of your OS, using a simple batch file to tell MS Access to execute a certain macro with command line switches as defined in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/209207
Anything wrong with this procedure?
I'm trying to automatically collect data by email to populate an access data base. And drive reports based on data collected. If possible, set up a timed/automatic report delivery via email. We have designed an Access macro to filter and send desired reports but it has to be manually started. We are trying to make this entire process as automated as possible. Will Access update it's tables on it's own? Or does this have to be iniated by an out office source? We have designed a email form for the audits to be filled out and returned to the outlook in box. This will be the source of our tables in access. Thanks in advance...for helping a couple of retards....
