I have installed Office Professional Plus 2007 several times with no problems.

From making sure your account is an Admin one, to running as Admin and trying it on another Admin account this problem is not going away. However I am seeing a change in today's computer users.

I just installed that on W7 for my wife, the very same version. I hope she doesn't have that happen. Did you have successful Activation? In the Tools folder did you try the Diagnostic program to see if that would solve the problem? Are you the primary user of the computer, or a secondary user or profile?

But then again it works fine here. I only know there is some odd issue with restricted users and having to elevate them for a run or running the app as admin seems to help.

There's a bug/issue somewhere here.
