Office 2004 font issue

Dec 28, 2007 8:46AM PST

I just loaded 10.5.1 and now I can not get thai fonts to work with a file that was fine with 10.3.9.
All I get are squares where the Thai characters should be.

What have you done

so far to remedy this problem?

Did you check to see if that Font was in the Font Book?

DId you reinstall Office 2004?

Did you clear the Font Cache's ( Font Finagler will do that for you)

Is your copy of Office 2004 up to date? (have all the updates been done?)

Is that the only font that is missing?

What computer do you have? Did you miss 10.4 entirely?

Thanks but no luck yet

Thanks for your input but no luck>

The fonts are in Font Book (Thai has 3 or so)

I did a 10.5 install from scratch on a new disk and then installed Office 2004 with all updates I could find

Font Finagler starts and then sits on preparing screen forever. Seems like it is only for 10.4.X and not 10.5.1 yet.
Normal fonts work (US) and so does a chinese one. So far only thai is wrong

G5 dual.

If there is no default printer selected it curbs what fonts it shows.
