What does OEM stand for I know it is an operating system for xp why is it cheaper than the full operating system,thanks

Some patches are never available to OEM versions of Windows. I've posted specific examples before. You'll never get to call Microsoft for a patch that note on http://support.microsoft.com but don't have for download.
