With XP cd in drive- navigate to Root drive \ Windows \ INF folder, locate the IE.inf file-right click-select install, if the wizard requests, browse to the i386 folder on the cd...likely will clear up your problem, if not-leave cd in drive, start > run box, type sfc /scannow and get the full treatment....should leave all emails / etc alone...
Out of nowhere I got an error message when i tried to open Outlook Express.
"Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be initialized. Outlook Express may not be installed correctly.
I have been on and off OE most of the day with no issue. After a couple of hours of idle time I returned and attempted to access OE and got that message. I noticed that auto update d/l some updates but didnot install them. Any assistance would be appreciated.
