Forgot this was still here. I fixed their problem.
Hi,
I did a reinstall of iTunes 10 (before I deleted the old iTunes I deauthorized the computer then deleted iTunes and then reinstalled... I since have been having issues with iTunes and the syncing of the iPhone, specifically music.
I went to sync the iPhone since the reinstall, and first was told the phone was synced to another computer do I want to replace info on phone with this computer. I did this (this is the only computer this phone is connected to). I then proceeded to do sync...
Everything seemed to be going fine, but when I unhooked the phone I noticed that the music on the phone was not what I had chosen for it to sync. It had songs I never checked off to sync, yet there they were on the phone. So I plugged phone back in and unchecked Everything in the Music section, iTunes read 0 songs selected and I hit sync... Unplugged phone and they were still there?!
I rebooted the phone and tried again. I can see in iTunes it says 0 songs and shows no space being taken up by music. As soon as I hit sync, when the sync finishes all of a sudden I have .88GB of music on phone in iTunes.
Any ideas on what I or iTunes is doing wrong?
This is on a windows pc, and itunes match is not used with this phone.
Thanks
