It is simply "Start menu".
The items you mention are appearantly Registy files. Do not import them to the Registry if you do not know what they are.
They may have been added to the All Programs menu when some program was installed or an infected email attachment was opened.
Right click on one of them and open it in Notepad. Something in the contents should give you an idea what it is related to. Also, you can copy the contents and paste it into a post so other members can examine it.
But as I mentioned, if you do not know what it is, do not import it to the Registry.
Hello, I have an Inspiron B130 Laptop running XP Home. Last week I went to open >Start> All Programs and found several dozens entries; all read similar to "ScanHKCR1192130831-56" next one "ScanHKCR1192130832-58 and so on. When I click on one of them, I get a message asking "Are you sure you want this information added to the registry?" At present I have just under 100 sitting in my All Programs area. This is a tough one; does anyone know a way to stop this? Thank you
