.... tried going back to an older version? When the Windows 10 upgrade was installed here, a number of our computers had their sound card drivers updated by Microsoft. As such, they didn't always work correctly. Visiting the computer manufacturer or sound card manufacturer's website and downloading/installing a newer or even an older driver fixed the problem.
Hope this helps.
So up until now I've had no real problems with the audio on my laptop (other than it sometimes having problems realizing I've plugged in headphones.)
But right now RealTek keeps deactivating the speakers. It happens in headphones and through the built-in speakers.
When I open it it looks like this: http://i63.tinypic.com/vsjg41.png
So I click "set default device" to activate the speakers. The button grays out and sound will work for a few seconds. http://i66.tinypic.com/116sy2g.png
Then it just de-selects and goes back to how it was in the first picture, with sound gone!
Any help would be much appreciated. So stupid.
