My uses in order of importance:

2. I'm buying a Dell XPS 700 specially ordered computer ONLY FROM Dell.
3. 2 X 320 Raid
4. 2 gigs of Ram
4. Windows XP Pro32 > Vista ready ???? I don't even know what Vista is.
5. High speed cable Internet hooked up to a {T-2 speed almost!}
6. I have no idea of what motherbaord etc. comes std. on the dual core 6400 Dell XPS 700.
______________________________________________________________________The question... What specific video card might give me 2 years before I have to upgrade and FAST GRAPHICS for MY SINGlE PERSON FAST MOVING SHOOTER GAMES, should I get with a max of $350.00 total?

You should buy a (Sapphire) ATi Radeon X1950XT for 269.99 on NewEgg because Dell doesn't offer this as solution. And getting this card will give you superior image quality in that price range.

But I do suggest to build your own computer or have someone build you a computer, if you want to do graphics work. And you should of gotten a 6300 instead of 6400 and over clock the 6300 to 6400 speeds, which is very simple task.

I would recommend the Geforce 512mb 7900gt. Unless you are a hard core gamer, and demand the best of graphics, this card will last you a long time. My Geforce 6800 will still play any game out, at framerates that are very acceptable to me.
