Nvidia GTX 550 or ATI Radeon 6770?

by RichardFW / June 8, 2011 3:19 AM PDT

So I'm buying a gaming PC and I've got the choice between these two graphics cards. The PC with the ATI 6770 is only 10 pounds more, so cost isn't a major factor in my choice (unless of course it's a rip off or a bargain). I'd like to know which is the best of the two cards, as I'd like this computer to stay around for as long as possible before I have to upgrade.
Both PCs have similar specs otherwise, but I'll list them both here anyway:

Thanks to both of you for the help. I've had a look at both of the websites you've sent me to and decided on the GTX 550 Ti. Once again, thanks for helping me out.

The difference in performance between the two cards is negilgible. The difference between the processors though, is HUGE. get the one with the 2500k, Its so much better, its binned higher, better quality control, higher stability. Its worth the extra 10 pounds.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
