Nvidia drivers make screen blink when right-clicking videos

Title pretty much says it all. After installing the newest Nvidia drivers (61.77), my screen blinks whenever I right-click on video files. The blinking only lasts a second, but it's certainly annoying. Is there anything that can be done to stop this other than uninstalling the Nvidia drivers?

Just try reinstalling the previous version. Unless you have a GeForce FX 6800 card, there's probably not too much you need in the 61.77 drivers. You can download the old drivers from nVidia's site.

When I click advanced to set anything in the graphics (Geforce4 FX5600) adapter, screen blinks black momentarily with anything but the original drivers on the CD-in one computer also had the media player thing too until I reloaded WMP9,> found the inf file for it "wmplayer" in the registered packages in the Windows, put XPpro sp1 cd in drive, right clicked the inf>selected install, made that player ok, still blinks when selecting graphics adapter advanced properties...

ATI and Nvidia seem to acquire such bugs from time to time. Since the drivers seem to work, I use the latest version and ignore this and count on another driver in the future to address this cosmetic issue.
