In the past Samsung has not done well in the reviews.
And most reviewers have just about stopped reviewing them.
Image quality being one of the problems.

I found a review of the Samsung NV3 and it looks like Samsung has been listening to past reviewers and make some changes in its camera engineering.

The image quality from the NV3 is good and the only complaint was performance (speed) that was a bit sluggish. But that can be said for many cameras.

The specifications of the NV3 and the Casio A70 are almost identical.

The NV3 is a bit more expensive, but it has some features that should make up the difference in price. Not many photographers want an MP3 player or video player in their cameras, but this one has it.

I suggest you read the reviews and decide if the extras outweigh the difference in price.
