Question

Numerous spam email

by wanness / February 9, 2012 11:43 AM PST

In just the last week, week and a half, I receive about a dozen spam emails a day. Prior to that, I had maybe one a month. Has any one else experienced this type of behavior? Thanks, Bill

Is sent being sent TO you. So there's nothing you can do about it except defining smart rules so you don't see it.

Changing your e-mail is a good solution, as long as it lasts (that is, until the spammers detect it again).

Long story short

Long story short, if there were a simple and effective method for dealing with spam, someone probably would have come up with it by now, and we wouldn't be having this conversation. The more people or sites you use that email address with, the greater the odds of it getting spam. The end. All you can do is manage the spam, you'll never stop it.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
