called a bigot and worse on many occasions and those posts stood. Let's get consistent, at least.

Has "numbnuts" been permitted before?
Got a link?
Did you put that forward when you argued your case?
you would need to use the wayback machine to locate old SE forums....but I know for a fact that I have used it before. Take my word for it.
you were referring to an intern that had an opportunity to work for Hillary, When you used the term "numb-nuts"
and much worse name calling has been directed at me personally over the years with those posts staying put. I think that term is pretty mild compared to many others that have showed up in SE. Methinks your skin is much too thin..........
Definition: numbnuts
A person of severely limited intellectual prowess.
Then the Donald won't be getting YOUR vote if you don't like thin-skinned people.
While "numb nuts" is not that bad, if I was talking to somebody who just had a vasectomy, I wouldn't say hi numb nuts. That's context. ![]()
Person considered to be of low intellectual skill. It was actually used as a label on an old IQ scale. It can also refer to a per who is very private and uninterested in public affairs but may be of superior intelligence.
It was apparently used in the old Greek democracy to label anyone who refused to participate in voting or in politics at all. This definition doesn't seem to fit here. Perhaps there is a term for a person of extreme exuberance in matters of political discussion or debate.
By extreme exuberance, I mean those who seemed to be consumed by something but joyfully so. It's not a negative in itself and can be constructive as well as destructive.
I mean I've seen posts being brought forward from 2005. Does that mean the name calling is more than ten years old?
you and JP discussing the forum policies and their implementation with just as much enthousiasm as the policies of BO and DT (although I doubt if you can call them policies when discussing DT). And with just as little relevance and effect.

We all know what these certain words mean in context to the conversation. Debate all you want about the topic and leave the name calling out of it. Yes, it's just that simple or just don't debate at all.
If you see your post gone it's probably because it violated our forum usage policy. And no it's not OK to personally attack anyone--whether friend or foe. Just because a word like numbnuts was used before and was allow to stand doesn't mean it's OK to continue using it.
