General discussion

NT showing up. . .

Jun 30, 2005 1:27AM PDT

I'm seeing a lot of posts with the (NT) in the title, but there is text in the message body, like this post. Is this a glitch or a newbie putting it there?

I've had that happen quite a few

times Wayne in V&S and the people that I asked about it said they previewed the subject to see what it looked like before they put the message in. When you do that and click the edit button to finish putting the message in, the (NT) stays there unless you take it out. That is probably what is happening.

it show up if you just enter a title then click preview, then submit. If you don't click preview it won't show up.

Gremlins?

not exactly a 'newbie', but i just made that mistake

i think it's because, after you type in the subject, it's "natural" that pressing enter will take the cursor into the message box, then when you get the preview box, you just miss the (NT) that got added?
