(NT) iRiver IHP-120 does not support WMA protected files

Oct 28, 2005 4:36AM PDT

After purchasing several songs online and reviewing audio devices that were supposed to be supported by Windows Media Player. The IHP-120 was listed as one. However after going to the irviver website I found out it does not support WMA protected files. I contacted support via a landline and they were worthless giving no date or even a time frame on when this major flaw would be addressed.

Although my IHP-120 has been an OK product the upgradeable firmware has still not addressed a critical flaw. The ability to download purchased songs online. Look elsewhere for a company that continues to support their products after their next generation product hits the market.
