Dear Mark

Sorry that you are 6 lbs heavier and that this exhilarating news will have made you even more out of breath Wink OTOH - Yeah! Glad to hear that you will be able to get to the Doc under your own steam and of course also that Sis is doing well. If ever there was a reason to "get well soon", then I think your Great Niece(?) has just given both of you a very good reason!

Thank you so much for keeping us in touch.

Best regards to all
Mo

In reply to: Re: (NT) Dear Mark - Me again - how is U and Sis today?

I reckoned you were talking about the "spare bedroom syndrome" but it kinda got lost in the overriding news. Now you're feeling a little better, perhaps it's time to get a larger couch !?! Wink

Sleep is sleep and you need to get as much as possible wherever you find it most comfortable, to let your body recover - as you know, of course. I hope the headache has gone now.

Are you closer to your folks now that you have moved?

An old bedspread, carefully put over the couch works pretty good to hide the lumps.

I have to sleep or prop myself up to read in my car while my daughter runs cross-country at 5:30 a.m., so I have become an expert at finding things to make the handles and seats less painful. One of my best tries so far was a winter coat of mine that has some soft lining like a new stuffed animal. That and a couple of sweatshirts managed to make the car semi-okay for my purposes. When comfort is the most important, the heck with the way things look!

Dear Mark

Many thanks for posting your news.

It's good to hear that the doc is pleased with your progress, and I'm glad you have got your appetite back, so do have a nice dinner, and my fingers are crossed that you get a good night's sleep also.

I look forward to your next post and my best wishes in the meanwhile.
