NSA Surveillance van?

Mar 30, 2014 6:44PM PDT

About two weeks ago I noticed that "NSA Surveillance van" appeared on my Wi-Fi network connection list (something I'd not seen before.). It was positioned immediately under my connection, second from the top; How did it get in that position?

The bars showed it as a lower signal strength compared to my neighbors, and with no lock. It advertised itself for a week, and then disappeared--like a mysterious stranger.

Maybe somebody read about nsa surveillance vans and named a network in order to raise awareness about an urban myth (real thing)? Everybody needs a hobby?
(Idle hands are the devil's workshop, e.g., chemical weapons, nukes, slavery.)

Anybody else seen this prankster?
