Now this is a good idea, killer marketing

They are releasing "webisodes" in prep for the next season. I have to say, battlestar has been one genius move after the other save one thing.

I bought season 1.0 and 2.0.. dingbat move with 2.0 though, only half the episodes. I'm assuming I'll have to buy 2.5 when it's out.

Rest, fantastic show.. handcam shake effect for space shots, mixing in enough spirituality using a benign feel of the zodiac with the drama not to mention the BOLD character and plot moves. Starbuck a baserat blond.. who doesn't know a Starbuck.

Hard to believe it's forbearer is the same basic script.

Beside the impeccable use of old media standbys with some intelligent new trick this show seems to understand new media just a touch better than the rest and it makes all the difference as people start to make choices on what days to watch what.

This is a great idea! I guess the companies are starting to realize the power of the internet as another medium for entertainment. I can't wait until all the studios are putting content online!

Yes, the webisodes have been fun, though most generally agree they are rather dull compared to the usual excellence we have grown to love with the series. I hope those new to Galactica don't judge the entire show on the webisodes. Feels more like cutting room floor stuff they decided to make good use of.

The show itself continues to break new ground and I very much look forward to the new season.

You know they've put JUST the right amount of religion and politics in it when people on both sides accuse it of being too this or too that Wink

Olmos and the producers were at Comicon and promise this season will be the darkest one yet - though they were quick to comment that there are elements of hope and triumph Happy

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
