Note: Don't give phony speeches, lol

That sort of thing will just lead to embarrassment that is about as easy to explain away as "inadvertently" stuffing classified documents from the National Archives in your shorts:

>Teresa Heinz Kerry, wife of Democratic nominee John Kerry, told a reporter to 'shove it' on Sunday evening -- immediately after giving a speech calling for a more civil tone in politics. [emphasis mine]

TERESA TELLS REPORTER TO 'SHOVE IT'

Sheesh... Guess this is all that was left after Howard Dean went "EEEYAAAAAAH!" But still, is this the best this party has to offer? Sheesh once again...

A good link is here . In addition, ABC News does have the story complete with transcript, but predictably (and gratuitously) attempts to limk Mrs. Kerry's outburst to the fact that the reporter in question works for a paper owned by Richard Mellon Scaife; nice guilt by association trick, that...

What I don't understand is why those who so excoriate Mr. Scaife for spending millions on the causes in which he believes don't similarly excoriate George Soros, who has spent millions on the causes in which he believes - except that Mr. Soros is spending his millions on causes which they support (but there's no hypocrisy here, I'm sure).

So, to whom was Mrs. Kerry referring to when she said:

"We need to turn back some of the creepy (long pause) un-Pennsylvanian and sometimes un-American traits that have come into our some of our politics ? "

Was it everyone? Or was it just the Scaifes, Limbaughs and Hannitys of this world? My guess is that what she meant was neither fair NOR balanced...

But I guess it's perfectly OK for the REPUBLICAN Vice President to tell a Senator (on the floor of the Senate) to "F*** Off"! Sheeeeesh!
