Nobody knows for certain

That said, it's an excellent price for that 58" IMHO. Get it professionally calibrated and you will have a whole new beast at a price that will be the envy of your friends Wink.

Price....too high

Excellent price? Not in New England.

I can get the TCP58S1 along with a free Panasonic Blu Ray player for $1,877 from Paul's TV. You can upgrade to the 65" S1 for about the same price you are considering paying for the 58".

You can do better. Amazon probably has it cheaper than that.

If you're talking about the Panasonic 58" S1 plasma, it's on sale at Best Buy for 1799.00. I just bought a 42" S1 for 699. a few weeks back , and now it's back up to 999.00. Just watch the prices because they change every week. www.bestbuy.com

I also sold a Samsung 40" Lcd for 300., but paid 1399. for it in 2007. Tv technology is moving so quickly and, if you're like me, you just take the loss for a good product. I am not patient enough to wait, but I do like to find sales.
