The 1st thing I am going to do before I even correct the spelling is save it and put it in to a new folder on the desk top. then if any thing happen to the post at least I would not have to start all over. all I would have to do is correct the spelling and then copy paste it from the note pad to the post page, proof read one more time. then click send. there is any word to describe the stress and tension that this computer is has been putting me threw.
here is some thing I forgot to tell you. when I did the backup on the disk the avg virus scanner did not back up right, and I don't know why. there is a back up on the computer called a flash voyager, and what it could not hold I put on the disk. there was 2 folder it could not hold. one witch I called sham1313 it had a lot of files I needed to keep, and a folder called hamm. these were put on a disk too. the avg was on the flash voyage also on the disk. they did not backup right. sham1313 just completely disappeared. the other things on the disk were all fine. witch I don't understand that at all.
In one of the post that I have sent you I said HP has walk me threw 2 different restore. I did try telling them that I have been having trouble for quite awhile if it was not one thing it was something els and I did not think I had a restore point that was when every think was working right. but they said I should try it any way.
OK! I said and did the 1st one and still had the same trouble about not being able to update any thing. not even windows and when I tried do a update on AVG I got this.
your computer system time seems to be accurate. this may lead to false virus dataiabase up-to dateness up-to dateness reporting please correct your system time if possible. there was one person here that said he never saw a message like that on any computer thew out all his years working with computer. also a few hp teg other people have told me that to. I think that had to do when we 1st got the computer and I was seeking help. it took awhile to fine out even tho we got the computer at walmart. there was a difference in the model number one ended in the N witch is mine. also one was ending with the letter M. I should have gotten the letter m witch was for American. the letter n was for Spanish people.
now back to the present trouble. after the second restore. he did tell me to do all the updating I could before talking to them again. he did not tell me not to install all the other things I was using to try to get rid of the virus. that was what they thought were causing a lot other trouble I was having. even new problems. like a black screen coming up that had quick play wrote on it the other things. I think it has to do with playing a game. all you have to do is type or surf the web and it would pop up at any time.
I may have this one part I am writing wrote above I should notice and delete it but if not I hope you understand I am getting pretty tried. mainly my eyes. I wear glasses and some time they don't help.
your computer system time seems to be inaccurate. this may lead to false virus dataiabase up-to dateness up-to dateness reporting please correct your system time if possible I finely got that one figure out
Some where in here I had to do a recovery manager because when I tried to do an update it would failed or have and error witch one said this.
2Local machine: installation failed
Installation:
Error: Action failed for file avgemc.exe: creating backup....
Error 0x80070002 %DESTINATION% = "C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgemc.exe.install_backup_1", %SOURCE% = "C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgemc.exe" some times some of the component's would disappear when I turn it the computer on and off they would come back just be outdated and on the web sheild says not active then
some times when I click up date it will show the box that the download lines go from side to side just never starts.{ IS THERE SOME THING SOME ONE KNOWS THAT CAN HELP ME GETTING AVG FULLY UPDATED? I only have a few more windows update to do and will be close to having the computer right. some of the other new things it was doing like just writing and email or sufing the net and a black screen would come up and it said quickplay I thing it had some thing to do with playing a game. just out of nowhere it would come up. when one of the hp teg help with that and could not help with the Avg she wanted to do another restore and I said no way. I just have a couple more windows updates and fixing the avg. then I should be good.
ONE THING I WOULD LIKE TO ASK AND I WILL DO SOME IN BIG LETTER SO YOU WILL KNOW I REALLY NEED THE ANSWER IS. WHEN I HAVE HAD A VIRUS BEFORE BUT NOT AS BAD AS THIS ONE I WAS SET a Malwarebytes' antispyware URL to install to help get rid of the virus witch it did do that. I was not told to unstall it. I thought it was some thing to keep to help catch any virus the computer might get. then I catch this virus and was sent another URL witch one was superantispyware. witch would seem to fine more infected things than the others. I don't know if it needs to be deleted or clean up. am I suppose to use it once then unstall it till next time or what? Hp said have one virus protector only. witch I new that. If I need to I could have one like the one I have on my desk top. witch is the superantispyware because with out the avg working right, that is the only thing I got to protect the computer. when I get the avg updated again should I un install the superantispyware? If I need to write for virus help how do I know what to keep and what to unstall?
when they could not help me any more they wanted to take control of my desk top just like they did when I 1st got the computer. even tho we only have A dial up connection. they were able to take over my desk top.
some desktop Icon would not even open. that was a new problem. I did not think I was going to be able to fix the new problems much less fix the one we still had from the beginning. hp said next I needed to do a full recover manager. witch I did sense this has a lot of talk about a virus I believe I should post it in the virus forum too. that is where I should have posted it the 1st from the start. I felt I should post it here to. 1st because it was where I did my 1st post on this issue. maybe some one els needs to learn like I have been learning.
I forget to write this about the AVG I should have wrote this where I was talking about the message that avg given me.
I need to try tonight late tonight if I can and try fixing the avg virus scanner. these are the things that need to be updated on it.ANTI-virus database is outdated, anti-spyware database is out dated, webshield not active Thanks Sharon sham1313 one more question should I post this in the virus froum
one trouble I did not have the trouble with the clock that I had before this , but you see all the other trouble I was now having.
