I made sure all programs, applications, and web browsers were closed, but music still inexplicably played through my headphones. Throughout my 15 years of avid computer use, this has never occurred. It was eerie so I shut off my sound.
Not long after, my USB WiFi adapter seemingly went dead, and still seemed nonfunctional this morning.
Any ideas of the causes? My thoughts are a virus, or some program managed to stay in the background despite the task manager being clean.
