not sure if a virus.. trojan.startup.

When I do a spyware scan this trojan.startup shows up... I keep trying to delete it, but it doesn't want to go away.. My Norton corporate does not pick it up as a virus when I do a scan... shows I have no virus's ... most times when I try to shut down my system, it will reboot itself, or bring me to the bios screen.. I have to turn my computer off, (from the back button on my tower) then reboot back up... I was wondering if there is a fix to delete this spyware from my puter without reformatting... it is kinda scary.. can anyone help?

Thanks for the help with the trojanNameShifter... had me stumped... I saved the article, now I hope I don't mess up my puter trying to do this.... ... wish me luck... (don't know how this trojan got in my puter in the first place!)... Lennie
