Not impressed with Fuji Digital cameras!

I bought the FinePix F601 just under three years ago and it has packed it in and the camera shop told me it would cost $450 to repair! My parents who have an older Finepix camera also had problems after three years. I think Fuji build a self destruct mechanism into these cameras!!!! I'm not buying Fuji products anymore and I advise anyone not too either

The good news is, the price on digital cameras has dropped during those three years.

A camera with similar featues to the F601 will be the Canon A520. It has 4 megapixels and a 4X zoom.
It sells for just under $200.
