General discussion

not getting enough sales

Dec 12, 2008 5:03AM PST

Our company, Stan's Chip Dip, www.stanschipdip.com was started 08/08. We've made about $2000.00 in sales primarily from a booth at food shows. We've only had 37 internet sales. Our website host shows we're getting 2,000 hits a day. We also advertise by mail with Valpak and Gold Clipper. What can we do to increase sales? We'd appreciate some constructive criticism. Thanks.

One problem: the picture of the 3 packets loads extremely slow. It's more than 3 Mb! It's 3264x2438px and shown as 462x368px. Totally unacceptable for a picture on a website. Use any picture editing program to make it 462x368px with a resolution of 72dpi.
Your second picture is somewhat better: 420px

I changed the picture. Your other suggestions are things we plan to do.
