"not enough memory" error message when adding printer

Jul 12, 2007 6:18PM PDT

Hey people

I'm in a spot of trouble and I need your help. I set up a network for a client who has:
2 x XP pro laptops with wireless
1 x Vista Home Premium laptop with wireless
1 x Vista Home Premium computer with wireless
2 x XP pro servers
1 x Printer connected to the server

Now I can connect everything, it all works, life is great.... except with the printer on Vista. I tried adding the printer on Vista by going to Network - Add a Printer - Wireless network - the printer is there and shared but... when I click next, it says:
"ERROR! CANNOT ADD PRINTER DUE TO LACK OF MEMORY, PLEASE CLOSE SOME PROGRAMS"
Now that particular laptop has 2GB of RAM and over 100GB HDD and I tried after restarting to free up memory, but it didn't work. It is a stock install of Vista and only starts up with protection programs.

Thanks for any help

Thanks Bob

It probably is a new error. I've looked through Microsoft and other forums. I'll have to send them the problem
