Norway. "Love Thy Neighbor"? Any guesses who did it?

by James Denison / July 22, 2011 8:19 AM PDT

I have ideas of who is responsible, the reporter seems to also. Eventually the truth will come out.

http://news.yahoo.com/norway-ripped-oslo-bomb-youth-camp-shootings-185204240.html

Norway's peace was shattered twice
Friday when a bomb ripped open buildings in the heart of its government
and a man dressed as a police officer gunned down youths at a summer
camp. Police linked one Norwegian to both attacks, which killed a total
of at least 16 people in nation's worst violence since World War II.Police
said they did not know the motive or whether the attacks were the work
of one person or a terrorist group, but Justice Minister Knut Storberget
said the man who opened fire at the youth camp is Norwegian.

Later at Utoya island, some 60 miles (100 kilometers) northwest,
hundreds of youths at a camp where the prime minister had been scheduled
to speak Saturday ran in terror and even tried swimming to safety as
the gunman fired.

Police said seven people died in the Oslo blast, and another 9 or 10
people were killed at the camp, which was organized by the youth wing of
the ruling Labor Party. Acting national Police Chief Sveinung Sponheim
said a man was arrested in the shooting, and the suspect had been
observed in Oslo before the explosion there.

Oslo University Hospital said 12 people were admitted for treatment
following the Utoya shooting, and 11 people were taken there from the
explosion in Oslo. The hospital asked people to donate blood.

Seems the suspect in the shootings

is reported to have been seen in Oslo before the explosions. And now there is one report at least that explosives were found on the island at the camp.

Home grown?

Story is still not certain, but looking more like some local wacko? Or it could be growing resentment toward immigration? The anti al_Qaeda?

http://worldblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/07/22/7143472-more-doubts-raised-on-terrorism-angle

6:55 p.m. ET: More is now coming in from people
close to the investigation raising the likelihood that the attacks were
home-grown and not the work of Islamic militants.Addressing
whether the 32-year-old Norwegian suspect might be affiliated with
al-Qaida or another group, Oslo's acting police acting chief said at a
late-night news conference: "We do not know if he was involved in an
extremist environment."And Tore Bjorgo, a professor at Norwegian
Police University College — which state broadcaster NRK reported is
working with police on the investigation — said the fact that the second
attack was directed at a political youth organization suggested the
involvement of local or European right-wing extremists.

Suspect charged and home grown indeed

But from the looks of the damage and the amount of activity that might be involved in setting explosives, I have to wonder if this could be the work of a lone individual. I've not yet heard if they've determined the origin of the blast(s) but it was mentioned that a blackened vehicle was among the rubble. I'd think a blast of that size from a car bomb wouldn't leave enough of it to be recognizable as such. It does appear likely that the blast was from the outside, however, as building damage seems to be limited to the facades.

Bible

yes, a quote from Christ. One who considers others in a country to be "foreign" might not consider them as "neighbor" but those who are of one's own ethnic background would almost certainly be considered "neighbor". Christ had a comment about a Samaritan though in regards to what is a "neighbor". A Samaritan was a "mixed" individual of Jewish blood however, not completely "foreign". They were treated by Judeans however as "gentiles" to a large degree due to long time feud between the northern and southern halves of Israel from the time the kingdom split in two.

to kill 85 of them, would it? I'm rather sure you wouldn't.

He's been described here on TV as extreme right-wing, a neo-Nazi and a fundamental Christian.

I believe someone created a 1 to 10 scale regarding these with the most dangerous to be those who can plan and carry out heinous crimes without remorse. His brain is miss-wired, chemically imbalanced, etc.
