Norton the pain

Mar 8, 2004 1:21AM PST

I have had so much trouble with the fire wall.I have networked 2 domestic PC`s and I have already lost the "Always apply this action" tick box in the alert pop up! Both PC`s are running on windows ME.The slave PC has permanent trouble getting on the net and its a pain in the butt.Any one who can help will be a friend for life.

Hi, Bat.

Extending Glenda's comment, I'd suggest you visit the ME Forum and the Virus & Security Alerts Forum. If you do repost there, be sure to give all your system details (which particular version of ME and Norton are involved, your processor speed/type and memory, etc). BTW, I have a good friend who'se having a similar problem with Win98. Norton's PF doesn't seem to work and play well with all that many others!
