Norton System Works Pro

Here is a message from my daughter. Perhaps you can help her out.

"I wanted to know if I buy the Norton Antivirus, will it integrate itself
with my Norton Systemworks Pro, and replace my expired antivirus within
it."

She has Win98 on a PC.

Thanks.

Pat

with my Norton Systemworks Pro

If you are in need of technical assistance, installation support, or are having trouble using your Symantec product, please call 800-441-7234 and press option number 5.

But if happy with Norton Systemworks Pro's Anti-Virus why not renew the subscription? 800-441-7234 and press option number 1 or 888-810-9896 and press option number 3.

Or if for home why not check-out AVG 7.0 Free. It works great and has automatic update, protection, and such. http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?qt=avg&tg=dl-20&search.x=16&search.y=6

Hi Pat, Current Norton Installation Instructions...

...request that previous antivirus programs, including their own, be UNINSTALLED FIRST before installing the new one. Although Norton 2004 will be automatically removed during the installation of 2005, I don't really trust it. I would uninstall it manually first. Remember also, then 2005 version requires "activation".

You didn't give a specific Norton Antivirus but assuming it's the Norton 2005 version, read the first few paragraphs of the link below:

Installing Norton AntiVirus 2005 from the CD

Hope this helps.
