goes to the security test automatically which is the way is is supposed to work. I see nothing wrong at their website.

It actually ran?

Did it start to run the actual security test? If so, do you know why it suddenly doesn't work for me?

It might have if I had let it

run which I don't have time to do. If it won't run for you, you should probably post this in the XP forum. It might be a javascript or Active-X problem which I know nothing about. You said you were getting an error saying that the link didn't exsist. I am not getting that error.

Yes...

I get the message that the link doesn't exist when I actually click for the scan to begin.

link is working OR somehow you are getting connected to a different server at Symantec than I am. As I said before MAYBE you have a javascript problem. Like Carol said, it showed that message for a second and then the page loaded fine. I know nothing about javascript. A better test than the Symantec one is ShieldsUP! which can be found here.

Scroll down to where it says ShieldsUP! and see if that one works for you.

Is this..

for ''Security Check''? I do get it.. but before getting there.. a page quickly comes up and says, ''To continue with Javascript click here''. It then immediately goes to Security Check. I didn't have to click on it. I'm only presuming it may be related to your problem. I repeat.. that's a presumption.

So in answer to your question.. it IS a working link.

Good luck,
Carol
