Norton Save & Restore

by adamsjason / April 7, 2007 8:22 PM PDT

Using save & restore on my pc (win xp pro sp2 with 2gb ram). I noticed my backup drive (an external usb drive) was getting quite full so I thought i'd do some housekeeping.
Within save & restore is a function that allows you to delete old saves, but when i click on it nothing happens (which is true of other options within the program.
Out of interest i created another administrative account and tried save & restore - all options work but I cannot delete any backups from the new account (possibly because they wern't created by that account).
Has anyone got any suggestions as to how i get it working again? I've emailed Symantec and they don't seem to have any solutions.
As a last resort could I just manually delete a number of old "saves" based on the date created (e.g. deleting all saves created on the 9th September 2006)?
