While I was installing the Norton Internet Security 2005 through my Windows XP, it seemed the installing was 'non-responsive' because the 'progress advisor' did not advance any further from one-tenth of the length of the 'advisor'. Therefore, I used the Task Manager to stop the installation because there was no button for me a stop or cancel the installation from the 'setup dialog box'.
However, now whenever I tried to install the software by inserting the Norton CD, the Welcome page would appear. Then when I clicked 'install Norton Internet Security 2005', nothing further would happen.
Furthermore, in the 'Add or Remove Programs' in the Control Panel, the Norton Internet Security 2005 is installed but I could not change/remove it.
Your advise is much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
