What does Symantec tell you to do with this?

This package has reports of such all over these forums. Support seems to be an issue here.

Why not toss it out, install the antivirus and use ZoneAlarm?

Make sure your browser has internet access. Go to Firewall>Configure>Program Control>Program Scan. This is a step missed by a lot of Norton users. Program Scan will detect and configure internet access for all internet enabled programs on your PC. Once Program Scan is complete, scroll down the list and see that your browser is allowed internet access. If it is not allowed internet access then enable its internet access.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
