Does this problem still exist if you turn off your windows firewall? Start->Settings->Control Panel->Windows Firewall
Temporarily turn off the firewall. (Remember to turn it back on when you are done!) I would'nt expect that your anti-virus program would be able to block your internet access, but I don't know exactly which program you have. Most issues like the one you are having are firewall issues.

"I have renewed norton"

That doesn't seem the smartest thing to do, to pay a renewal fee for a non-working program. Antivirus is a good thing to have active while being connected with the Internet, and somehow it defeats its purpose if you disable it in that case.

Time to ditch Norton and find another antivirus? But maybe, it's not Norton antivirus, as you write, but one of the numerous other products from their Internet security suite. Then switching antivirus only might not help or even be dangerous if the new program leaves out some features.

Hope this helps.

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
