Norton AntiVirus Alert Window wont close

I seemed to have gotten rid of a virus on my computer called Trojan.Cachecachekit and it also said there was one called Bloodhound.Exploit.56

My computer is running good now, but the problem is that the Norton AntiVirus Alert Window wont close. I have tried clicking over and over again on both the "ok" button and the "X" but it just refuses to close. I tried turning my computer off and restarting but still it wont close.

Also, the Windows XP Firewall is not being allowed to run. or the Norton AntiVirus wont run.

I use Windows XP and the computer is a hp Pavilion a320n

Cany anyone offer any help please?
