Norton AntiVirus 2005 Activation

by sanyosteve / September 29, 2005 10:16 PM PDT

I was running Norton AntiVirus 2005 on my WIN XP Clone with no problme and the License expired.

I purchased a new licensed copy of Norton AntiVirus 2005 and now I can not get the software to activate with a one year subscription.

I have had multiple e-mails with Symantec and they had run three programs to clean off the previous version of AntiVirus 2005 but to no avail.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Toss it.

Toss it since Symantec can't fix it and get Avast or Free AVG then add in ZoneAlarm.

In reply to: Toss it.

Thanks Bob for your reply...unfortnately I have already paid full price for it.

For all those considering Norton AntiVirus...their Tech Support is the worst I have ever dealt with!

While I could compare it to bad food... I won't.

The solution I offered gets you protection without having to deal with Symantec or parting with more money and time.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
