1. NAV will fail on install if a virus in present or virus damage exists. Remove such first.
2. NAV doesn't uninstall cleanly. I look up the RNAV utility from Symantec to remove more of it.
3. I gave up on NAV. The 2004 version is a misfire. If this is 2004, just get a refund and use Free AVG from http://www.grisoft.com until they fix it.
4. Don't want item 3? Call Symantec.

Hi,
Had to remove Norton from my computer as it had a fault. Tried to re-install and got as far as setup and then post install tasks, configuring Norton antivirus and then it hangs up. Any idea why??? I have tried it a couple of times with the same results. Help!!
