norton 2006 worm protection and aol 9.0 security edition

by Ekaba1 / April 27, 2006 7:22 AM PDT

A friend of mine has been having problems with norton worm protection and aol 9.0 security edition in which she is getting knocked off the internet anytime the worm protection is enabled. She was telling me that she called aol and they had a recording telling norton users what to do, but of course, when I called to find this out I couldn't get anyone to give me a straight answer to resolve the issue. Has anyone else encountered this problem? She is running winxp, 589Mhz Pentium II, 384MB Ram, 18GB Hard drive. It's a "Dell" that's so old, the chassis is WHITE(lol)so this is what I am dealing with. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
