None of my USB ports are working

by supahsain08 / August 13, 2010 8:15 PM PDT

None of my usb ports are working. When i go to device manager I see yellow exclamation mark beside all the usb controllers
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

I have tried uninstalling the driver and then installing again but that didnt help.

You didn't tell. But here's the driver name I want to read about -> "Motherboard chipset drivers".

maybe CCleaner can fix it. If you clean the registry
with CCleaner, uninstall the usb controller, turn the computer off,
reboot, and let windows reinstall the drivers, that may work.
