None of my browsers work in certain secure sites

Jun 27, 2004 12:04PM PDT

I cannot seem to find the answer to this one, so I hope someone here can help me before I shoot this computer, with the gun I do not own.
If I try to get into sprintpcs, for example, I am able to log in, but if I want to look at my bill and pay it, it won't let me. I get the message "The document contains no data". What does that mean? On the other hand, I can go into my online banking and view my statement. I have tried IE, Netscape and Mozilla. All act the same way. I am running WinXP and have done a restore on it once, because I thought that would solve my problem, but it didn't.

My answer is hidden in this question since Spyware can muddle with the internet connection and produce such a result.

Q. What are you doing to detect and remove spyware and parasites from your machine?

Hint: Read http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/ and keep LSPFIX (and it's instructions handy) from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm in case the suspected parasite has damaged the Layered Service Provider.

Grif,
I never thought about the router at all. Thanks for the ideas which I will try when I get home from work. I have Verizon DSL and also connect thru AOL and MSN. When I asked Sprintpcs, they told me I had to update my browsers which ofcourse, I am already running the latest versions of all. Since none of those work in secure places, I believe your idea of checking the routers is an excellent one. I will try it and let you know if it worked. Thanks again.
