Question

Non opening of gnome_terminal or root terminal

Pclos-2010-gnome fully updated

The gnome or root terminals will not open from icon,menu,command line or xterm

What is the fix

Terminal-app.c:1499:terminal_app_init:assertion failed: (app-> default_profile_id_id !=null) aborted

In the folder /.gconf/apps there is not a folder named gnome-terminal

Also checked gconf-editor and in the folder gnome-terminal > default there is not any entries

only instance of gnome-terminal in system files is in /usr/bin and it also does not open

You should report to PCLOS devs they will fix code.
