Actually, the N80 was approved by the FCC back in November, but apparently was rejected by Cingular. There are, however, reportedly three versions in the works, and it's not clear which one was approved by the FCC or turned down by Cingular. See http://www.symplification.com/node/363 for the FCC approval story.
Release date is still up in the air. We have a lot of anonymous sources claiming imminent release (end of April), like at http://mobile-qanda.com/forums/2238/ShowPost.aspx which I take with grains of salt.
Also interesting is the rumor the N80 was just a pre-production release, and newer phones like the N93 are the actual production models. Certainly, the alleged specs of the N93 and N73 are beefier than the N80 or N90, and given the choice, I'd pick the N93. But right now, neither the N73 or N93 are more than pretty pictures, nor have they gotten FCC approval.
Nokia N 80 got everything but it havent come out yet in the U.S. Can anyone have the insides about when its gonna come out and how much its gonna cost ? Nokia planed to realeased this phone By Q 1 , 2006 but FCC havent approved yet, so the phone will be late but how late and how much its gonna cost is the question i would like to ask you.
